Retrofit

Control system modernization of an assembly line

Task: The control system of a proven assembly line had been discontinued – spare parts scarce, downtime risk high.
Solution: Migration to a current PLC generation including new visualization and safety technology, carried out during a planned production break.
Result: Full spare parts availability restored, better diagnostics and noticeably fewer unplanned stops.

New machine

Task: A machine builder needed electrical engineering, control cabinet and software for a newly developed special-purpose machine – from a single source.
Solution: EPLAN engineering, cabinet manufacturing, PLC programming and commissioning at the end customer as a complete package.
Result: On-schedule acceptance at the end customer; the machine builder could fully focus on mechanics and process.

Project management

Task: A plant builder needed a project partner to take end-to-end responsibility for the control technology of its plants – from planning through commissioning at its own factory to acceptance at the end customer.
Solution: We provide control engineering project management including software planning and preparation, lead and coordinate commissioning during plant assembly at the factory – and, after relocation, carry out commissioning again on site at the end customer.
Result: Ramp-up support and optimization through to successful plant acceptance: one point of contact across the entire project, clear responsibilities and a predictable start-up at the end customer.
